Here is another view of the the High School that later became Central school in the other photo that I posted. When the Central School was torn down then the Washington School was built and that building is still standing. When Washington school was no longer used it became the School offices. Not sure if its still in use anymore? The Washington Park is across the street at an angle. Across from the park is the Library and next to it is the Masonic Temple. A small building is next to it and I believe the building on the corner was a hotel. The the large building in front in this pohto was the Ward Hotel that building became Carter's Furniture Store. It's really sad, but the only building in this photo of all these buildings standing is the Metropolis Library.
