Huzzah for the Hingham Militia Company and chasing the British off the Hingham coast once again! It was a pleasure to partner with the Hingham Militia Company

Town of Hingham, and Harbor Media to host the reenactment of the Revolutionary Battle of Grape Island on Sunday May 18. Special thanks for all who participated in our speaking program including Moderator Paul Healey, Hingham Boys Scouts Troop 1, Town Veterans Services Officer Shannon Burke and Selectboard members Bill Ramsey, Liz Klein and Julie Strehle. Musical performance by Ken Read Brown and Rich Jensen and a rousing version of Grape Island led by Militiaman Michael Vaugahn. We had one of the largest crowds ever which is a testament to our region showing up for history! Thank you for attending and honoring our local patriots, their courage, and that fateful spring day in 1775 when they stood up for liberty.

Thank you to everyone who came out to SPRINGHAM last weekend!

We loved seeing so many neighbors -young and old - at the Hingham Heritage Museum to listen to live music by Tequila Tim & the Thirsty Boots Band. We couldn't have asked for better beverage partners in . Thank you to everyone who danced, sipped, got their face painted and celebrated the community.

The Hingham Historical Society launched Springham, a free community concert at the Hingham Heritage Museum in April 2021 to encourage community members to get out of their homes post COVID and gather in our beautiful downtown. We are grateful to our community for showing up rain or shine year after year. If you loved Springham and appreciate what we do to keep historic downtown Hingham vibrant, please support us by becoming a member in the nonprofit Society.
