Hi! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Skye and I have lived in the South Bay since 2009.

My wonderful husband Kent and I have 3 amazing little boys (Jack-9, Reed-7, & Riley- 4) who keep us very busy! I am also owner of Happy Hill Kids, so you may have seen me around town hosting Parent Workshops or facilitating mommy and me classes at the Nest. My family and I love exploring our little beach cities and are excited to keep you in the loop with local events in the area.

No more researching storytimes or the best classes/camps. Being a parent keeps us busy so we are here to make it a little easier. Please comment or reach out for any events or if you have info you’d like me to share!

This week’s Meet a Mom feature is Jenn Martin, program director of South Bay’s family owned !

BeachSports is a local, family-owned and operated business that offers kids summer programs focusing on ocean safety and beach activities such as surfing and beach volleyball, as well as Skateboard programs at the Hermosa Skatepark.  Their programs are well known and trusted in the community for their professionalism and safety standards.  BeachSports programs start at age 4 and are located in Manhattan, Hermosa, and Redondo Beach.
