This 1940 Harley-Davidson WLDR is powered by 750cc side-valve factory racing engine and features high compression aluminum head, extra-large intake ports, Edison Splitdorf magneto, and a 3-speed transmission. This WLDR is the TT model used for road racing with a large fuel tank and cast aluminum oil tank.

The 48 "Hot Rod Pan" - This 1948 Panhead is in it’s original paint and was personalized using lots of chrome extras. The machine also has been fitted with a foot shift conversion from the period. The front fender swan is a favorite at Wheels Through Time.

This original 1951 WRTT was carefully reassembled to race-ready condition by Museum Founder, Dale Walksler, in November 2006. The bike features original Harley-Racing orange paint and is one of only 23 produced. The bike was raced on county fairgrounds across the Midwest into the late 1960s.

1923 Ace Racer - The Ace Motor Corporation produced motorcycles in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1920 to 1927. This particular example is a race model from 1923 and features a special short racing frame and a Flying Merkel front fork. It is the only Ace Racer known to remain in existence.

The late ‘20’s and early ‘30’s were the heyday for speedway racing in America. The Harley Davidson peashooter won many of these short track events. This rare 500cc peashooter was built for a special 500 class. Notice the cut out fuel tank. It is notched for the special 500cc tall cylinder. Most peashooters were only 350cc.

The FLTT - This front mount, chain-drive Wico magneto race motor was raced to various 80 inch TT national championships in the late 1940s and early 50s by Roger Soderstrom of Bloomington, IL. Short TT oil tank, raised transmission for primary clearance. Reinforced racing bars. MR carburetor. TT hi-pipe. Almost all original parts and hardware.
