UPDATED CALL FOR ART

Carnelian Art Gallery plans to host a small works show in August 2027 with the deadline to submit works being the end of November 2026.

We will only accept submissions from artists in the Midwest. To submit works, please send us an email or go to carnelianart.com/submit and follow the prompts on the webpage.

We will reach out if we think your work is a good fit for the exhibition. Title to come.

Here is another sneak peak of “Of Clowns and Artistic Depth,” an exhibition featuring Madison artist Douglas Hyslop that opens at Carnelian Art Gallery on Friday, July 10, at 5 p.m.

Hyslop will give an artist talk that night uncovering the circus world and characters he’s created through his acrylic paintings. The paintings will be on display at Carnelian Art Gallery until the end of July.

Join us for an evening of fine art, light refreshments, and community. As always, admission is free.
