I hope this finds you and your loved ones well during this period of uncertainty.
Nonprofits say this a lot—but this is real: We need your help.
Due to the current pandemic and its impact on the economy, we’ve had to make some hard financial changes. We’ve had to temporarily close our restaurant Claire’s at the Museum, cancel or postpone special events, cancel educational programs and exhibitions, reduce paid staff hours, and freeze all other discretionary expenses. But we still need revenue to keep basic services going.
How you as a donor can help
Sure—supporting operating costs is never sexy, but if you believe in the work we, the Board of Trustees, and our community is dedicated to, now is the time to donate to keep us healthy until this crisis passes. The need for your support is unprecedented.
We also ask you consider making your donation a recurring monthly gift on your debit/credit card, which can be arranged by contacting the Director of Development, Iris Quiroz or me directly. We can also be reached at (562) 439-2119 x336 and x226 respectively, and will be happy to assist you with your tax-deductible gift and any other inquiries you may have.
You can also mail a check addressed to the Long Beach Museum of Art: 2300 East Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803.

We know LBMA will continue to be the leading cultural arts leader in Long Beach. But we need help today to continue our mission for generations to come. Please give what you can to help us through this crisis.
Many thanks for your consideration—stay healthy, and stay safe.
Ronald C. Nelson
Executive Director, LBMA
