I’ve just finished a new acrylic piece titled "Looking Up at the World on Fire," measuring 14 by 18 inches. This work centers on a close-up portrait of a person with deep brown skin and intense brown eyes, gazing directly ahead. Instead of hair or a crown, the Earth appears above the figure’s head, rendered with continents in vibrant oranges and yellows set against deep blue oceans. Surrounding the planet are bold flames, evoking a sense of intense heat and urgency.
This piece was inspired by the complex and troubling realities unfolding in the US and around the world—political unrest, environmental crises, and social challenges are all part of the landscape I’m reflecting on. Through this artwork, I aim to provoke thought about our planet’s current state and the weight of these global pressures that literally sit above us all.

I thought I was done with this one on the first post but decided to go back and add more details. Glad I did. This 20x30 acrylic painting showcases a vibrant and detailed underwater scene that captures the rich tapestry of marine life. From the colorful corals and marine plants to the dark, jagged rock formations, this piece is a celebration of the beauty found beneath the water's surface. The size of the canvas allowed me to delve into intricate details, highlighting the dynamic interplay of light and shadow. I've always been mesmerized by underwater life, and I hope this artwork brings some of that awe and beauty to your space

Expressive acrylic piece that measures 6x18 inches with a depth of 1.5 inches. This vibrant, two-paneled artwork features bold, abstract forms in red, yellow, and black, brought to life through layered brushstrokes and dynamic textures. One unique aspect of this piece is that all sides are painted, allowing each panel to stand alone or complement one another as part of a set. I've also incorporated clear gloss beads to add an extra layer of texture and depth. The result is a visually captivating and emotionally charged composition that embodies motion and intensity.
