Route 66 offers its travelers so much history, visual eye candy, and spirituality.
Most people jump on the road for this experience. But once they get there, they realize that it is so much more about the people they meet and the friendships they make along the way.

Here is one fine example! My dear friend Lowell Davis introduced me to his friend Jeremy Morris, an inhabitant of Red Oak II, several years ago. Jeremy was a candyman for Hersey at the time and had just moved into Red Oak because he was blown away by the serenity, art, and history that Red Oak had to offer. Like me, Jeremy Morris became enthralled by what the old road had to offer and loved the friendships he was building through the connection of old Route 66.

Jeremy has become a dear friend! his enthusiasm pumps, my enthusiasm up even more!
Jeremy is a huge force moving Route 66 forward for future generations, Hes a force behind the The Boots Court and the Jefferson Highway and Carthage Missouri.
