Lahaina Restoration Foundation Lahaina Restoration Foundation is a 501(c)3 Hawai’i nonprofit organization charted in 1962.

Our mission is to be stewards and storytellers of Lahaina’s Historic & Cultural Heritage Discover all that our picturesque town of Lahaina has to offer: a vibrant mix of restaurants and retail shops, scenic ocean views, captivating museums, and historic architecture.

Our goal with these videos is to share more of Lahaina’s history with everyone, especially those who haven’t had the chance to visit Hale Paʻi or are learning about it for the first time.

If you haven’t seen Hale Paʻi in person and would like to, anyone is welcome to join us for an open house on Friday, November 6th, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.

Join us October 29th at Waiola Church Lawn for an evening of live Hawaiian music featuring special performance by Ikaika Mendez and his father, Bodi Mendez 🎶

Hailing from the uplands of Kanaio and ʻUlupalakua, father and son Bodi & Ikaika Mendez were raised in the country, where music, culture, and moʻolelo have always been a part of their lives. Their music draws from both traditional and contemporary Hawaiian and local styles, carrying the sounds and stories of the places they call home. They dedicate their music to father/grandfather Benjamin Mendez Jr., who recently passed away in January 2026 and would make the third member of their musical trio. No laila, e nanea mai i nā leo kani o ka uka. Mai ka hikina a i ke komohana, mai Haleakalā a i ʻEʻeka, mai Puʻu Pimoe a i Puʻu Paʻupaʻu, aloha mai kākou.

Our Hawaiian Music Series concerts will now be held at Waiola Church Lawn in Lahaina all of 2026 ❤️

Through this initiative, guests can round up their dining bills at participating restaurants such as, Mala Ocean Tavern, Coco Deck Lahaina, Pineapple Robot and Pizza Paradiso to support the restoration and preservation of Lahainaʻs historic sites and cultural heritage.

Rally at the Reef is a three day pickleball camp coming to Lahaina this December, featuring Pickleball Hall of Famer W.E. Gabrielsen and an incredible coaching team!

Designed for intermediate to advanced 4.0+ players, the camp offers level matched training, competitive play, and special kamaʻāina rates for Hawaiʻi residents.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Lahaina Restoration Foundation!
