Out of an abundance of caution due to forecasted weather conditions, The Black Cowboy Museum has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Juneteenth Trail Ride, Parade, and outdoor activities.

The safety of our riders, horses, volunteers, and community remains our highest priority.

However, the celebration of history continues.

The Black Cowboy Museum will be OPEN on Friday, June 19, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and admission will be FREE for all visitors.

Come explore the rich history and legacy of the Black Cowboy and celebrate Juneteenth with us indoors.

It was a truly uplifting experience to welcome over 75 vibrant members of the Seasoned Women Ministry of Fort Bend Church as they embarked on a journey of remembrance and reflection at the FBC Heritage Unlimited Museum on Saturday, April 25, 2026, where spirits were lifted and hearts were filled with joy as they recalled their remarkable experiences throughout history. Before visiting the museum, the ladies were inspired by an empowering event at the African American Heritage Monument in Kendleton, where Commissioner Dexter McCoy shared an empowering message.
