Don’t bug out! 🐜 Steal this idea for your next exhibition.

When San Jacinto College South Campus Gallery hosted "Small Wonders: Insects In Focus", they didn't stop at hanging photographs. They transformed the gallery into a place where people wanted to linger. With artificial grass, picnic blankets, insect-themed games, and a partnership with the biology department that brought the exhibition to life in a whole new way.

That's our favorite takeaway from this story: building an experience that people just don’t want to leave and keeps visitors coming back (with their friends).

126 years ago on August 26, 1920, the U.S. Secretary of State signed a proclamation officially certifying the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Now this day is known as Women's Equality Day!

We were sad to hear that legendary artist, Betye Saar, has passed. We were so lucky to have toured her work across the US with Exhibits USA in the '90s and help more people experience her art and genius.

Betye Saar, the pioneering assemblage artist who powerfully tackled racism, died at 99, just four days before her 100th birthday.
