Carter Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society meets on the 3rd Monday that follows the 1st Tuesday of the month. We meet in room 312 of Brown Hall on the ETSU Campus in Johnson City. Meetings start at 6:30 PM. Why not come and join us to preserve the Heritage of the Railroads in our area?

I do know I have not written on this site for a while, I wanted it to be about the railroads and not about me, This site is dedicated to the railroads that built this area and they should be for it. SO HERE'S TO THE RAILROADS THAT HELPED THIS AREA GROW!

The G.L. Carter Chapter of the NRHS will be sponsoring an Excursion to Stearns Kentucy and a train ride to the Blue Heron Mining Camp on October 7, 2017. The buses will leave ETSU Parking Lot 22A promptly at 7 AM on that day. The cost is $85 per Adult and $66 for Children 3 to 12 years of age. Ticket order forms are available at the G.L. carter RR Museum for the next 2 weeks(9/16 & 9/23). All the information is included.
