BLUE DIAMOND Earrings 14k white gold 1/4 carat total weight | eBay

Sorry that we have been "out of it" on Facebook. We are still assessing different locations in the DFW area. In the meantime, the TMM has monthly bills to pay with very limited revenue. This item was donated to us by the Turgeman family to be auctioned. We have enlisted a supporter to list it on eBay and the link is provided below. If you want to help us cover the TMM's monthly expenses, please visit our GoFundMe.com page, Texas Music Angels. Our monthly bills are $1500 for storage, insurance and security. If you can even help with $5 or more on a monthly basis, it would help us in a BIG way and it would be greatly appreciated. Please share and spread the word. Thank you!

Someone with the City of Irving evidently has other plans for the building that has been the home of the Texas Musicians Museum for almost three years. Whatever might be more valuable to the redevelopment of neglected, flailing downtown Irving than a museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating our Texas music history, complete with live music every Friday and Saturday night?

The TMM had relocated to downtown Irving in 2015 after being courted by City of Irving representatives in 2013, having signed a 5-year lease with a renewable 5-year option in 2014. It appears City Hall has since received what they believe to be a better offer and is now ordering the TMM to vacate the premises. This, following numerous requests by the TMM to City of Irving employees, councilmen, and even the Mayor himself for a meeting to defend themselves and perhaps work out a new deal which might be more appealing to the City. Instead, the City has chosen to enforce unclear details in the ambiguous lease, after having breached the lease themselves from before the TMM even moved into the downtown facility. Obviously, there's more to this than we're being told..

John Allen Terry | Country from Burleson, TX

This weekend at the Texas Musicians Museum (Tmm Irving) is the July First Sunday Songwriter Showcase. We will have Gator and Mudcat (Michael Reames), Rick Babb, and the songwriter I'm featuring today, John Terry.
John Terry was born and raised in Waco, Texas, moving to the Fort Worth area after attending UTA. John became interested in songwriting while in college, but did not pursue it seriously until joining the Fort Worth Songwriters Association in 1997; he then served on the FWSA Board of Directors from 2001 until 2012. He now serves as a regional coordinator (Fort Worth chapter) for the Nashville Songwriters Association International. John travels to Nashville several times each year, to co-write and establish contacts within the music industry, while looking for that elusive "first cut".
Hear some of his music here: https://www.reverbnation.com/johnaterrysongwriter
Doors open at 4:30. Showtime is 5:00.
Food, drinks, beer, and wine are available....come join us!

We would like to thank Ted Nugent for supporting the Texas Musicians Museum by signing this beautiful vintage (early '70s) thin hollow-body guitar, strikingly similar to the guitar style and body that Nugent plays. Ted didn't sign guitars at the Dallas guitar show, so we are very grateful to receive this one, specially signed for us to help raise needed funds for the TMM.

To be offered for sale soon!

We're so proud of TEXAN Stephanie Rice! Would you like to see her perform at the TMM again?

We have come a long way, and this is not the end. At all!! Do not be upset. I am not upset tonight. I am proud! Let's take a look back for a second. At 18 I was working three jobs to survive, put myself through college, landed a job in the Texas Medical Center and became a published author in a Scientific Journal, and had one guitar with me everywhere I went. I wrote every emotion into a melody, and sung the notes that saved my soul. My PASSION, my one true desire, is to share with you that power of music. Fast forward 10 years: my DREAMS sprung to life, and I found myself on the biggest stage in America. I never anticipated receiving the amount of love I have from you guys - and I am going to get to work starting TOMORROW to return the love in the form of songs. I am going to write and record the things that speak to my soul, and I cannot wait to share that with you. YOU have made this journey overflow with meaning. YOU have made my heart EXPLODE with HOPE! I was able to share with you my soul, and at times I was terrified, but you always - YOU NEVER FAILED - to accept, love and support me. The belief from you, and the unwavering belief from Alicia Keys, has ignited a fire. This fire will not die. I love you all so much. Like I always say.... let's do this.

Governor Abbott's SB1147 is scheduled to be heard on the Floor of the Senate starting Monday (4/24/2017). SB1147 requires the Legislature to VOTE for Governor Abbott to Chair his own PRIVATE nonprofit corporation, to start his own music museum, in a state owned building, then consume all private and State resources just for HIS museum, to compete with the Texas music history industry (us), for Austin. Ridiculous, by any standards!

Even though Abbott claims that no state money will be used, no taxpayer monies will be used, and that he'll raise all of the money himself, HE NEEDS a bill to compete with the Texas music history industry (the private sector). Abbott has hidden the costs of building his new Texas State Music Museum in the State Facilities Commission budget and the museum staff in the State Preservation Board budget. Authors of SB1147 have declared that Abbott will spend all of the State's monies just for the music museum in Austin.

There is something sinister when the Governor strong-arms the Legislature to approve him starting his own private business to compete in an existing private sector industry.

It's time to call your Senators and ask that they OPPOSE SB1147. Just say:

VOTE NO on SB1147
Governor Abbott should be working for the entire Texas music history industry!
Texas did not elect the Governor to start his own private business, to compete against a Texas industry.

We've already won round 1 (SB1147 is on the Senate Floor for debate).

We just need to let them know they're in for a fight (in the Senate).

Please distribute to your members, patrons, colleagues, students, friends and families for a:

Mass CALL-IN on Monday and Tuesday (4/24 & 25, 2017) to DEFEAT SB1147 for all of Texas.

Call any (or all) of your Senators above and just say:
