Some days hit harder than others.

They can shake your confidence, bring old hurt back to the surface, and make you question things you thought you already understood.

But a bad day does not erase your progress.

You can cry.
You can feel disappointed.
You can feel lonely.
You can need a minute to pull yourself back together.

And still keep moving forward.

Maybe not perfectly.
Maybe not quickly.
But forward.

Bad day. It’s how you go forward that counts.

Today, here at Gracefully Hers, I’m dedicating this space to my mom.
Thirty-one years ago today, I lost her.
As I remember her, I do so with love, compassion, and grace for all she lived through.
Today, I simply miss my mom.
