Finally put a chain guard on my Elgin 4 Star twin bar . I believe the guard is correct ? But was also used on other model bikes so the brackets had to fabricated. This is my first attempt at these brackets I’ll likely give it one more try in the future. But this is good enough for the time being . I bought the guard painted silver. My intention was to paint the guard black . As I went to paint it. I then realized there was chrome under the paint ! So chrome it is !

Making progress on the Old School Rampar BMX bike . Still waiting for a few parts and it needs a couple of adjustments but it’s a rider.

Finally found my childhood bike last year and have decided to build it. Rampar BMX bikes are not to hard to find if you look for them. The Chrome version is another story as far as finding a decent one. Below is the starting point after cleaning the frame and fork. The other photo is progress so far . The bike isn’t all factory parts . That’s because my bike was also custom built as a kid. There’s still more to do but it’s a good start.

Test drive on a 1953 Firestone Chrome contest bike. Fixed the pedal and went for a ride made it a few blocks before the 67 year old tires turned to dust. The tear down and rebuild starting shortly. Boring before photos .

My latest project . Firestone Imperial chrome 1953 Contest bike. This was saved by the original owners sons friend from going to the dump. He cleaned it some on one side with 000 steel wool . Lucky for me he seemed to know what he was doing. Still a lot of clean up left to do. Yes I have the other pedal.

I finally finished this Iverson Drag Stripper Bike. It’s a Custom using mostly original Iverson parts . This bike was built to be my Rat Rod Bikes Build off bike last year. I missed the photo dead line by a few hours . It was ok as I didn’t have the bike completed but it was rideable at the time. I’m just glad it’s finished . Other than a few more ad ons .

Huffy Rail bike almost done . This may be a record for a start to finish rebuild for a Huffy Rail Bike . These bikes are finicky as heck. I bought the bike on Monday and have it 90 percent done on Wednesday. Before photos are in the post below this post.

Apache Drag Bike , This is my still not finished Rat Rod bikes entry but it is up and running . This is one of the best riding bikes I have been on , Really surprised . The bike is smooth and really straight all around.

Apache Drag Bike, Decided to try to make the tank match the frame paint. Seems to look like a good color match. Also made some other progress trying ideas.

Hey guys, I’m new to the page and I’m looking for some parts for a 41 Columbia Viking. (Tank, pedals, rear rack, chain guard.)
Anyone got any parts for sale?
I have a mid 1970's Schwinn Varsity in fairly good condition. I would like to get it restored. I am in Bergen County, NJ. Does anyone have any suggestions on a shop ?

Please erase this if it does not belong here. I have had this bicycle for my whole life (35 years) and it was my dads old bike. I don't ride it anymore and would like to see it fixed and go to a good home, but have no idea what to price it as.
5 speed peashooter/stingray? Rear and front shocks. Not the original color, my dad painted it 35 years ago, but the original green is underneath the black paint I believe. Only other thing not original is the tires and break cable.
I bought a couple of old bikes today both cruisers. 1. Schwinn Speedster and 1 Hiawatha (the Hiawatha has a city of midland bike registration sticker from 1961) does anyone know where or who could tell me if they are worth anything?
