All Kodiak Tough Supporters –

We would like to take a moment to thank all of our supporters and racers throughout the years for coming out to race with us, hang out, support our events and helping grow the mountain bike community. We have made new friends over the years and reconnected with old friends. These memories will remain indefinitely.

Over the years, with your help and participation, we’ve had the amazing opportunity to be a part of an exciting community that allowed us to create gravity focused mountain bike races and we thank each and every one of you. The love and support received does not go unnoticed nor forgotten.

It is now time for Kodiak Tough to close our doors and say farewell. While the years have been filled with wonderful memories, it has taken time away from our families and in turn, it is time to shift the importance from building an amazing mountain bike community, to enjoying family time.

As the saying goes - as one door closes, another door opens. While Kodiak Tough is closing its door permanently and will no longer be a race promoter, the Southern Enduro Tour brand and races will live on through new ownership. We are super stoked and excited to announce that the Southern Enduro Tour will now be owned and operated by Slaughter Trail Guides and Dustin Slaughter. Dustin will take over full ownership and operational control of the Southern Enduro Series.

The Southern Enduro Tour will continue with the scheduled Stop #3 at Dinosaur Valley State Park - March 10, 2019. Kodiak Tough will hand over the keys to Slaughter Trail Guides as the new race promoter for this event. We hope everyone will come out and support Slaughter Trail Guides as they move SET forward and also take a moment to say farewell to Kodiak Tough. The SET series will continue as planned for the following scheduled races:
• Stop #3 Dino Enduro – March 10, 2019 at Dinosaur Valley State Park
• Stop #4 Hill Country Eagle Enduro – March 23-24, 2019 in Rock Springs, Texas
• Stop #5 Iron Mountain Enduro – April 7, 2019 in Iron Mountain, AR

The Southern Enduro Tour Stop #6 O’Rock Epic Enduro currently has final permits in place; however, funding is still in the works. More to come on this race. All details for the upcoming races will be shared on the Southern Enduro Tour page: https://www.facebook.com/southernendurotour/

We hope you continue your love and support of the Southern Enduro Tour. Slaughter Trail Guides’ goal is to keep all of the things we love about enduro mountain bike racing: gravity trails, easy pedal transitions with your friends, accurate race timing, with cold beer and food waiting for you at the end of each day as you relive race day with race stage recaps next to bonfires and friends.

We wish the best to Slaughter Trail Guides and have no doubt the spirit and enjoyment of the Southern Enduro Tour races will continue in his good hands. We look forward to seeing how the Southern Enduro Tour will continue to progress, evolve, grow and allow racers the opportunity to share in the adventures and events.

He will provide 1 free low resolution image with logos for 1 week. Then 1/2 price for one week on low resolution logos. This offering is for Enduro event only. Galleries for marathon and enduro without logos will be regular cart prices.

On-site registration will be available for the Marathon - $90/Adults & $60/Juniors. Payment via cash or Zelle & Venmo if the race venue has good reception. 👍🏼

Red Light Roastery Coffee House will be on-site at race venue with their delicious small batch craft coffee roasted in Hot Springs so be sure and stop by for a complimentary cup.

We will also have Trail Labs LLC, Revolution Mobile Bike Repair, and Shimano-MTB on-site for wrench support.

If you have any cycling needs while in town stop by Parkside Cycle and they will get you taken care of.

Saturday night party at Superior Bathhouse Brewery - these guys use the thermal spring water as their main ingredient in the brewing process. All riders over 21 will receive a wristband at Race Check In for a free beer at the party! There will be two times (see schedule posted below) to hear about the Enduro stages. So come grab some beverages and some dinner!

While in Hot Springs definitely check out the area! They’ve got lots of outdoor activities in addition to the awesome Northwoods Trail from many hiking trails, the Mountain Tower, fishing, off-road park (4 wheels 😉) and Garvan Gardens. Then you’ve got the bath houses, museums, theatres, shopping, and yummy eats!

Thanks to all who made it out to Sansom Shred!

It was great to get back to Sansom, and showcase with this event, the new stuff FWMBA has been doing with the gravity lines.

Shout out to Gordon King, Stephen Donovan, Jeff Neal, and the rest of the Sansom Trail Crew and Fort Worth Mountain Bikers' Association - FWMBA Non-Profit volunteers for all your hard work!

Over $800 will be donated to FWMBA from race entries and individual donations!

We were also stoked to see some new faces as well as racers coming down from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri!

The Sansom Shred early bird pricing was set to end last Tuesday but we are letting it fly until this Tuesday, February 5th until 8PM!

After that it will be $70 Adults / $45 Juniors until registration closes this Thursday at 8PM. Race day registration this Saturday will be $80 Adults / $50 Juniors.

Super excited about new lines FWMBA has put in, awesome stages, along with some wooden ramps for some fun flair, Bonzai Cycle Werx for wrench support, Pickle Juice Sport shots, post race meal, Pro payouts, custom Re-GEARED awards, and great raffle prizes!

Weather kept this fun, local race off the calendar in 2018 and we’d really love to see you guys out there for this one where a portion of the proceeds are going straight back into the trail. 🤘🏼
