More September Birth Flowers!
The secondary birth flower for September is Morning Glories! This is a plate and mug set painted by Alice Wofford, which the artist donated to the museum in 1980. On the plate is a collection of morning glories with a blue band around the edge. While the mug has a similar collection of morning glories, a gold rim, and a blue band. Happy National Trail Mix Day!
This is a trail mix/candy dish painted by Ingeborg Molgaard in 1920. Donated by the artists son in 1980, this artwork can be found in our International Hall. This artwork has Dresden style fruits and flowers, gold detailing, and a nut shaped k**b on top. Tag us in any photos of your trail mix containers and consider painting one. We hope to see you in the museum soon!

Today is National Peach Pie Day! Although we don't have any peach pies laying around, we do have wonderful paintings of the fruit. This piece was donated by the artist in 2012 and won the Gold Ribbon at Oklahoma State Fair. Visit the museum to see all of our painted summer fruits!
