Wowwieee - It’s my first rotation around the Sun as a Mama 🐾🐻🍁✨⚖️🌹

Life is a real trip, I get to learn about the world again, and everything is new through her eyes. I am allowed to slow down, to soften, to notice…
What a big ol’ blessing!!!!

here’s a wise quote for the day:

Started to go back in on my self portrait from 2 years ago during Mixtek Mystics at CoSM in New York…

I had a lil conversation with my Amanda Sage recently about finishing it, where I said “I don’t even know that girl anymore” 😂🙏✨Wither way, I felt compelled to try.

So I’m changing some things that no longer resonate and adding the highlights before I go back in on some darks … maybe I’ll finish it this weekend for my birthday … 🌹

Been thinkin a lot about why we came out to live in the country. We weren’t looking for a convenient lifestyle, we’re not trying to keep up with the Joneses or the Smiths or the Kardashians.

We were looking for a place to keep up with our souls yearnings. To see the vast horizons, to watch storms roll in from our front porch, to delight in seasons. To create deeper art.

🌹 Now Here we are with our greatest artwork - our daughter - listening to the birds in the morning, watching the pumpkins grow. The slow life. Breathing room. “Inconvenient” and isolating as it can be, I’m looking back in gratitude for ending up here and what we’ve cultivated.

Thanks for being here.
What shall we create next? ✨

Art usually makes up half my income, and the other half I make up through working part time. My art sales have been unusually slow this year (I get it, groceries and gas prices are stretchin’ us all) - so I’m hoping to offer things that are exciting and give super good deals!!
