Grand Haven Children’s Museum

A heartfelt thank you to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum for gifting us their beloved puppet theatre! What a beautiful ambassador for friendship and the wonderful ways children’s museums support each other. We’re so grateful!

Many thanks to the Muskegon YMCA for its safe storage until we can open our doors.

Exciting news for the museum! We’ve signed an MOU to be part of the Diesel Plant redevelopment.

There’s a lot of work ahead, but we’re excited about the possibilities. The Diesel Plant site could be a pretty amazing home for the museum.

Plans for the former Grand Haven Board of Light and Power Diesel Plant on Harbor Drive appear to be changing course once again.

The LEGO lighthouse and catwalk, commissioned by friends of the museum, is now on display inside the actual Grand Haven lighthouse!

A fitting ambassador for the future children’s museum, in its new home where it will be treasured by community and seen by thousands of guests every summer.
