Fullerton Founders Day Parade and Fair Fullerton Founders Day Parade and Fair is Saturday, September 26, 2015! The festivities will celebra in downtown Fullerton after a 22-year absence.

The Fullerton Founders Day Parade and Fair will return on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event is presented jointly by North Orange County Chamber and the City of Fullerton. The parade, which steps off from the intersection of Berkeley Avenue and Harbor Boulevard at 10 a.m., will feature local marching bands and community groups marching south to Wilshire Avenue. During and at the

conclusion of the two-hour parade, an old-fashioned town fair will be held at the Fullerton Downtown Plaza, with entertainment, contests, food and vendor booths, and an awards ceremony for the marching bands. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase at the Fullerton Museum Beer Garden. Those interested in participating in the parade, may receive an application by calling the Chamber at 714-871-3100, or visiting the Chamber of Commerce offices at 444 N. Harbor Blvd., Suite 200, in Fullerton. Parking for the parade and fair will be available in the public parking lots throughout downtown Fullerton. The parade may be viewed from the sidewalks on Harbor Boulevard between Berkeley and Wilshire Avenues. For more information please call the North Orange County Chamber of Commerce at (714) 871-3100.

Reminder that Parade starts at 10 a.m. and marches south down Harbor Blvd. from Berkeley to Amerige.

Concurrently, the old-fashioned Town Fair will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wilshire Blvd. in the downtown plaza.

Where can you park to attend the Founders Day Festivities? While we encourage biking or walking downtown, parking lots and structures are available throughout the downtown for you to park your vehicle:

1) The Downtown parking structure on the south side of Chapman Avenue west of Pomona Avenue.

2) The Plumber parking structure at Chapman Ave. and Pomona Ave.

3.) The Downtown Wilshire parking structure behind the Chapman Building on Wilshire Blvd. east of Harbor Boulevard.

4) The Fullerton Transportation Center parking structure on Santa Fe Avenue west of Harbor Blvd.

5) The Fullerton Transportation Center parking structure on Pomona Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue.

6) The parking lot behind the Springfield Banquet Center off of Chapman Ave. west of Harbor Blvd.

7) The parking lot on the corner of Pomona Avenue and Chapman Avenue.

8) The parking lots on the north and south side of Ellis Place between Pomona Avenue and Harbor Blvd. (behind McDonald’s)

9)The surrounding parking lots within the Downtown area both east and west of Harbor Blvd.

To make the day's events run smoothly as possible, please be aware that there will be road closures to accommodate the parade route, dispersement of parade participants, the fair itself, fair vendor set-up and tear-down. This list is detailed, so please read carefully to allow time for parking and navigating the streets on the day of the event.

1) Harbor Blvd. will be CLOSED between Berkeley Ave. and Commonwealth Ave. from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, September 26. This closure will include access to and from all side street and driveways along this portion of Harbor Blvd. Harbor Blvd. will REOPEN as soon as street cleaning is complete following the event.

2) Berkeley Ave. between W. Valley View Drive and Harbor Blvd. will be closed from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on 9/26/15.

3) Pomona Ave. between Whiting Ave. and Amerige Ave. will be closed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on 9/26/15.

4) Wilshire Ave. between the Wilshire parking structure and Pomona Ave. will be closed from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on 9/26/15.

5) Wilshire Ave. closed between the alley just east of Pomona Ave. to Pomona Ave. from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on 9/26/15.

6) Amerige Ave. between Pomona Ave. and Harbor Blvd. will have limited access between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the entire street will be closed.

There will be temporary "No Parking" signs posted throughout downtown streets and parking lots. There will also be temporary "No Parking" signs posted along the west side of Harbor Blvd. between Malvern Ave. and Berkeley Ave. Please make sure to observe these signs.
