A wonderful morning with EAA 67!
They brought the pancakes and Little Smokies and Mark VZ brought the PT. Great fun sharing with all the little (and big) people the story of training aircraft in WWII.
Thank you EAA 67 for another one of your great pancake breakfasts.
Our PT-26 was in good company this week!
Indiana Wing getting more relief supplies for the Indiana tornado victims. The need is still there even if they are not in the news!
Thank you to the Wing and all the Colonels that donated.
Our C45 continues to serve this great nation!
News.
"A tornado struck Rolling Fork MS and cut a 104 mile path across the state. Rolling Fork was hit the hardest. At 2pm Monday, Steve Fryman from the Indiana Wing called and asked, what do they need? MS Wing member Brandon Stevens got together a list. As of 10 am today, the first of three planes bringing medicine, water, trash sacks, and baby wipes, to name a few items, began unloading. Thanks to Glenn Olsen, pilot of the Beech, for putting this together on their stop at Pensacola yesterday. They delivered nearly 2,000 pounds of supplies and raised $1300 in four hours to procure it all. See y’all soon Indiana Wing. Thanks from the Mississippi Wing of the Commemorative Air Force!"

Great to hear everything is going OK!!
BOB at work!
BOB the Twin Beech has already had its first adventure of the Spring Tour! Pilots Glenn Olsen and Spencer Jordan stopped at a little airport just north of their first destination, and unknowingly landed at BOB's former home base of 20 years! Someone came across the radio and asked what they were doing there, and after it was explained they were on the Air Power History Tour, this gent told the pilots they had 80 hours in BOB from back in the day when it was based there. Their Wing Commander came down today and let us know that they have had a camera sight from BOB that they've held onto for over 20 years. One of our Indiana volunteers, Tim Porter, drove up and picked it up for us, and in their hangar spotted lots of pictures of BOB from back during the time frame it lived there in Mississippi. What a small world, and how neat to see the living history touring across the country again!

If you get a chance follow BOB during the CAF Air Power History Tour in Florida the next two months!
