Assistant Curator, Avery Hathaway, held her first discussion on the secrets of the Grange today! She explained her research process and journey of discoveries as she put together a new exhibit on the East Sandwich Grange activities. If you missed today's discussion, don't fret! Behind the Scenes with Avery Hathway: Secrets of the Grange - Rules, Rituals, & Recreation

Join Assistant Curator, Avery Hathaway, for an informative and informal talk on the East Sandwich Grange. Learn about the history of the building, the Grange organization as a whole, and its ties to the Nye family. Journey into the center of what once was the rural community in this East Sandwich neighborhood. Granges were as much focused on agriculture and education as they were on community and fun.

Included with museum admission. Free to members. Limited capacity. Call ahead to reserve your spot at 508-888-4213.

Enjoy this short clip from last year's Sandwich Guards performance. We hope to see you tomorrow to kick off our 2026 Season with a concert by the talented musicians from the Sandwich Guards Cornet Band at 2PM in the Nye Museum's Grange Hall. The concert is included with museum admission (just $10)! Members and children under 12 are free.
