Last Dollar Road

Legend has it that prospectors and miners traveling the ruggedly beautiful trail running between Ridgway and Telluride, Colorado, would keep their ‘last dollar’ close to hand in the event they had to pay the $1 toll for the return trip if things didn’t work out.

Today, the average price for a single family home in Telluride is a staggering $5.6m.

Perhaps 'Last Million Road' is more up to date.
