The DeTour Museum and DeTour Village has lost a good and faithful volunteer with the passing of Diane Leonard Adams. We offer our condolences to all of her family.
Diane volunteered as a docent and in many ways for general upkeep and support with us from the time she returned to DeTour until her health no longer permitted.
She was also the driving force behind the restoration and display of the tug Philo which is now displayed across from the Botanical Gardens and has pictures and historical information in the Museum. RIP Diane.

Our Museum is now closed for the 2025 season. Thank you to everyone that supported us this year with your visits, donations and attendance at our special events and presentations. Also a big thank you to our volunteers who provide so much. Without all of you we could not stay open.
Don’t forget our annual Pancake Breakfast With Santa during Village Christmas on December 6th.

Just a quick reminder that the Museum is hosting a presentation by Tom Farnquist with video on the Fitzgerald including history and the 3 dives including the bell recovery. Thursday, September 18. 7pm at the EUP Fine Arts Building. Doors open st 6:30. Hope to see you then.

It’s that time of year again. Breakfast with Santa is not just for the kids and their families. Everyone is welcome to join us for a great all you can eat pancake breakfast and support for the Museum.
