DeTour Passage Historical Museum

DeTour Passage Historical Museum In DeTour Village on Elizabeth St. at the Ferry Dock. Preserving the area's past for future generations.

A small museum with a strong maritime heritage featuring photos, artifacts and information significant to the DeTour Village Area. Our Maritime Park provides a great place to watch the Great Lake and International Freighters pass by.

The DeTour Museum and DeTour Village has lost a good and faithful volunteer with the passing of Diane Leonard Adams. We offer our condolences to all of her family.
Diane volunteered as a docent and in many ways for general upkeep and support with us from the time she returned to DeTour until her health no longer permitted.
She was also the driving force behind the restoration and display of the tug Philo which is now displayed across from the Botanical Gardens and has pictures and historical information in the Museum. RIP Diane.

Don’t forget our annual Pancake Breakfast With Santa during Village Christmas on December 6th.
