From Our Files, August, 1976: Dassel Boy Scouts used two gallons of white paint to refresh more than 700 stones arranged to spell "Spring Lake" on the hill near the lake. The Dassel Dispatch identified the the group of scouts in the picture as Marvin Smith, Randy Skalberg, Clinton Lindquist, Andy Hultgren, Jeff McCalla and Andy Larson.

Oh, what a night! Airborne Attraction and Friends played to a packed house last night. Thanks to the band for the wonderful performance and to all the fans who showed up to support them!

From 6-8:30 tonight, socialize at the Mushroom Building. Next week, SMILE FOR THE CAMERA! Fox 9 TV plans to visit and get some video and information for a story they will air on unique & historic buildings. Please attend and give them a warm Dassel welcome!
