I am still working on my 2nd rendition and mural of “City of Gnostros,” working off the concept art painting you see accompanied with the unfinished work. It’s going to be a long process and I truly enjoy just taking my time. It’s all in my head: no models or references expect the original piece, and that one does include inspirations from real world architecture. Hope you all have a moment to take a look!

2019: From Seascapes to the Next Series

Starting back in April of 2018 I started a 1 year series painting all sea/maritime related scenes including the current piece in progress, which is viewable in the posts of The Art of F.A. Chekki FB page. Moving on this April of 2019, I am excited for a couple of things: first, f.a.TV will be launching on YouTube with the corresponding videos to be presented here on the page, and second, a new year long series painting fantasy and surreal works. So coming here in a couple of months come back to take a look at what I hope to be some really interesting and possibly enigmatic pieces that will be posted with progress along the way!
