Patron Magazine interviewed Temple Shipley, collection manager for Dee Mitchell, in regards to “Goodbye’s are not forever” a celebration of Dee’s life in art and books. its a great read, and was struck by Temple’s quote;

“That longer horizon shapes how the collection is understood. “These objects often outlive their collectors,” Shipley says. “That’s a simple fact, but it has real implications.” Having worked with the collection for over a decade, she frames this moment not as an endpoint but as part of a longer trajectory, one that raises questions about how collections are built, sustained, and understood over time.” - Patron 2026

“Meanwhile, Beya Gille Gacha, showing with Keijsers Koning, drew a steady crowd with a sculptural work built from glass beads, wax, fiberglass, concrete, and a living element in the form of a sage tree. The piece sits low to the ground and gathers organic and industrial materials without smoothing over the tension between them. Gacha, who is set to appear in the Cameroon Pavilion in Venice, had one of the more focused presentations in the fair, one that reads clearly even in a crowded room.” - Daniel Cassady for Artnews

We like to bring our A-game and it has clearly resounded, thank you Daniel Cassidy

Very excited to see work on view at the curated by Wim Botha;

From April 9 to September 19, 2026, Afroblue brings together 36 artists who entrust the color blue with their memories, dreams, and stories. Explored as a living material, between sky and sea, blue bodies, ancient gestures, and contemporary forms, blue composes a poetic journey to express the world today.
Afroblue, an exhibition to discover this summer at the Gare de Bonnieux.

This past February 2026 Brent Birnbaum held a performance alongside his participation in “The Best Show Ever,” which featured his photographic series “Birthday Boys” . On the occasion of his birthday, the artist had himself photographed nine times alongside Geoffrey, the mascot of the toy store chain Toys “R” Us, who was celebrating his birthday on the same day. After the company’s bankruptcy, Birnbaum acquired one of the costumes. Having become an unemployed mascot, he wandered through downtown Nuremberg appearing at various landmarks until he reached the Kunsthalle Nürnberg. Images by Byron Von
