Listeners and musicians alike enjoy the acoustic bluegrass and old time string music at the Dahlonega Appalachian Jam. The Jam gives traditional mountain music players the chance to get together and celebrate the kind of music that has been performed in the Appalachian Mountains for ge

nerations. Visitors enjoy an afternoon and evening (even a few days) of fun with downtown Dahlonega's extensive dining opportunities and linger for some great shopping at the 65 retail stores in the downtown area. The 2017 Jam will be from May 6th-October 14th on the Gold Museum Lawn.
