The Portrait Artist of the year es mi programa favorito; varios artistas realizan sus retratos en vivo; sus modelos - famosas personalidades, yo trato de participar disfrutando el show desde mi casa y haciendo mi version de algunas de las personalidades invitadas.

“The Portrait Artist of the Year is my favorite show. Several artists create their portraits live, with famous personalities as their models. I try to take part by enjoying the show from home and creating my own versions of some of the invited personalities.”

Drawing has been my life.
For over four decades, I have worked as an artist and teacher, convinced that portraiture is not only likeness, but character, volume, and truth.

In this space, I will share processes, works, and reflections on the craft.

Thank you for being here.
— Abdon J. Romero
