Sitelines was hired by Netmarble to provide a complete production package to Launch the North American debut of their MMO Mobile Game Lineage II: Revolution at TwitchCon 2017.

Sitelines was hired by Netmarble to provide a complete production package to Launch the North American debut of their MMO Mobile Game Lineage II: Revolution at TwitchCon 2017.

We designed and fabricated a custom 50’x50’ consumer exhibit, and turn-keyed all technical support, lighting, and stage management to perform a successful multi-day live webcast and public event.

We took on the role of Technical Producer and Director for the TwitchCon Event, working directly with Netmarble's Executive Director from South Korea garnering an understanding of the show needs in order to organize the crew, pace the show, provide direction to the floor directors, generate and perform a detailed Run of Show, and fulfill the Executive Director's show concept.

Our Primary tasks included: Pre-production meetings, working with floor directors to organize a script tailored to the talent, translating the detailed script into a technical Run of Show that included 6 separate tech cues for all aspects of the show (two separate playback systems, audio, floor directors, webcast start/stop/breaks, lighting), working with video TD to switch the show, aiding in the technical video setup / video routing, organizing playbacks, leading control room technical setup, video switcher setup and management / and directing all Show and Stage managers through the Run of Show during the 3 day event.

Conan O’Brien, Day9, Gillyweed, Dreadnaught, and a number of other high-profile presenters and Cosplayers from the gaming and entertainment community, were brought in to host the live Twitch & Facebook broadcasts. Our team handled all of the Talent Management, hair and makeup, catering, game training, and client green rooms for the Launch.

It was important to showcase the scale the game, by having live 30 vs 30 battles—something that had not been done live on mobile devices before. High-density wireless access points were deployed throughout the booth to ensure that players were not disconnected while playing the game.

With a pair of guest streaming stations in a lounge environment, high-profile influences were able to explore the game with their Twitch audiences. Leveraging influencer audiences gave Lineage II: Revolution exposure that they couldn’t have done through traditional channels, and maximized the impact of the launch.

As the largest booth at TwitchCon, Sitelines was asked to create a multifunctional space that served as a welcoming area for Twitch Prime members and a showcase for four exclusive partners.

Twitch Prime hired Siteline Productions to design and fully execute their 6600 square foot consumer exhibit booth at TwitchCon San Diego 2019. As the largest booth at TwitchCon, Sitelines was asked to create a multifunctional space that served as a welcoming area for Twitch Prime members and a showcase for four exclusive partners.

Siteline Productions integrated Twitch Prime partners Rockstar Games, World of Tanks, Psyonix Rocket League and PUBG Mobile into the exhibit by designing unique areas tailored to the partner requests. Each partner had the ability to reach a broader audience outside of TwitchCon through streaming booths that ran on a managed network deployment.

Key Twitch Prime messaging and benefits were brought to a global audience from the Twitch Prime Stage in two-hour live, daily broadcast. Siteline Productions produced and provided technical direction for the three daily shows on twitch.tv/twitchprime. The broadcasts allowed for the exhibit featured partners speak directly to the audience as drops and benefits were being released in real time. The day three show concluded with a live 3 vs. 3 Rocket League best of five series featuring high-profile influencers.

The Madden NFL 20 team desired a way to showcase their brand-new Superstar KO mode by featuring legendary NFL talent, music giants and pro streamers. We provided overall production management services, creative direction, technical direction, script writing, broadcast engineering and logistics for each Thursday show in four consecutive weeks.

When EA Sports and Twitch Prime partnered to produce a four-part series Siteline Productions was there to bring their vision to a reality. The Madden NFL 20 team desired a way to showcase their brand-new Superstar KO mode by featuring legendary NFL talent, music giants and pro streamers. We provided overall production management services, creative direction, technical direction, script writing, broadcast engineering and logistics for each Thursday show in four consecutive weeks.

Week 1 took place at the NFL’s 100th Season Kickoff Party at Grant Park in Chicago, IL. A tournament hosted by Scott Cole and Tre Mosely placed 4 teams lead by Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Spice Adams, Lil Yachty, and Juice WRLD. Each team consisted of an afore mentioned celebrity, a pro Twitch streamer, and Twitch Prime member who qualified to play earlier in the day. A best of three single elimination round of Superstar KO mode was played on the EA Madden NFL 20 Stage to determine who would play in the finals on the NFL Main Stage and become the Crown Cup winner in Chicago.

Siteline Productions engineered a mobile broadcast studio capable of capturing all elements of the EA Madden NFL 20 Stage as well as intersecting with the NFL Main Stage production truck to capture the finals of the event. Fifteen hundred feet of fiber optic cable created a bridge between the two stages, our mobile broadcast studio and the NFL’s broadcast truck. Over the 1500’ of fiber, we took the camera & gameplay feeds from the NFL back to the mobile studio, composited them, sent the composites to the NFLs broadcast truck where their director switched the main stage show. Here it was sent back to the mobile studio, encoded and sent to Twitch for ingest.

Weeks 2 and 3 featured Twitch streamers Anthony Kongphan and Goldglove honing their Superstar KO skills in preparation for a final showdown in the Crown Cup: San Diego. Siteline Productions engineered a multilocation broadcast solution pulling feeds from the home locations of Anthony Kongphan in Kansas City, MO, Goldglove in Vancouver, WA, and the EA Madden NFL studio location of Zach Farls of Good Morning Madden, who provided coaching and play tips. A single Twitch ingest and broadcast mix originated in the Twitch Prime studios in Seattle, WA.

Week 4 was broadcast live from the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter as a final Streamer Invitational and lead in to Twitch Con 2019. Host Spice Adams lead a single elimination tournament to see who would face off with Anthony Kongphan and Goldglove to advance to the finals. Goldglove would prove victorious.

Again, Siteline Productions provided the mobile broadcast studio, production management services, creative direction, technical direction, script writing, and tournament design, making the completion of this four-part series a success for Twitch Prime and EA Madden NFL 20.

Sitelines provided all of the technical supervision needed to run 35 demo stations, provided all of the technical direction/design needed for the video, lighting, audio and streaming systems needed for the booth.

We brought a new technology to the table in the format of a G-Smatt LED video window, with content ready to run on it. Our client wanted a way to keep people from entering the booth from the side, but didn’t want to block their sightline to inside the booth. Sitelines proposed a new clear glass video screen, which enabled people to see the inner booth activities from the outside of the booth and also provided a wonderful LED screen for branding and messaging opportunities.

During another instance of GDC, Sitelines designed a six-sided LED Screen (each side measuring 6’-6”x19’-8”) - adding a staggering 227-square feet of brandable space to represent the overhead signage for the booth.

We have concurrently Designed, Assembled & Operated the Amazon Game Tech Booth at GDC from 2017-2019.

Twitch Prime participated in the first real-life event celebrating Prime Day, an Amazon shopping tradition. Twitch Prime sponsored a 64-player PUBG tournament in Los Angeles as a lead up to Prime Day. Some of the players were top streamers and celebrities including:

Invitations to the exclusive event at a the secret, undisclosed location were sold to the Treasure Truck community for $1. These invitations were picked up from the treasure truck at The Grove in LA where people discovered what the event was. This was a 7hr live stream event that wrapped with a live Deadmau5 concert.
