Loyal Order of Reenactment Enthusiasts (LORE) is organized around an educational goal. The purpose of the organization is to provide the means for history enthusiasts, educators and students to develop or expand their skills and background in various aspects of history, including, but not limited to Medieval, Renaissance, Age of Discovery, Victorian, Civil War, Western History, Exploration, Arts and Invention. LORE is committed to presenting reading programs to schools and libraries. LORE’s current program the “Knights of the Fabled Reader” encourages students to read and learn history. Students must read at least 8 books and have their teacher or librarian sign a form listing the books read. Students are rewarded with historical bookmarks, pins, certificates and other recognitions of their accomplishments. As part of this program dedicated reenactors from LORE visit schools and libraries to bring history to life.

Mission: Our goal is to educate the general public in the history, legends, mythology, arts and skills of peoples and cultures from ancient times through the present by holding workshops and special events and to encourage reading and an interest in history through outreach programs to Libraries and schools.
