Founded to save, restore and exhibit the works of renowned sculptor and medical illustrator Abram Belskie and provide a forum for the arts by providing a venue where both local and international artists of repute can display their works.
The Belskie Museum, a tax-exempt corporation, was founded in Closter, New Jersey in 1993 to save, restore and exhibit the works of Abram Belskie (1907 - 1988), one of our country's most accomplished sculptors and one of the most eminent medical illustrators of our time. Mr. Belskie was a resident of Closter his entire adult life. ADMISSION IS FREE. Reg. Hours: Sat. & Sun. 1-5 pm. Special hours can be arranged by appointment for schools and organizations.
