Orange County's EAA Chapter 92 is proud to announce the launch of its 2014 Young Eagles season on March 30th. Chapter 92’s Young Eagles program is for youngsters aged 8 through 17 who will learn how airplanes work, assemble and fly a foam glider, learn about careers in aviation, enjoy lunch and finally see what SoCal neighborhoods look like from the sky. Last September the EAA’s Young Eagles program flew its 1.8 millionth Young Eagle some of whom have visualized becoming a pilot and made their dream a reality through EAA’s student member program; some with help from EAA mentor volunteers. EAA offers a free membership to all Young Eagles as part of the Young Eagles Flight Plan; this program includes free access to Sporty's Learn to Fly Course. To date, more than 22,000 Young Eagles have taken advantage of this on-line instruction with many of them becoming pilots.

Our chapter’s EAA member volunteers, pilots and ground crew, will: offer ground instruction; provide a lunch and finally take you up up and away on your Young Eagles flight with an FAA certified pilot.
A couple of important notes:
We are delighted to report that our EAA Chapter 92’s Young Eagles program is going to be featured on SoCal TV this spring on “PBS SoCal’s ~ Discover Orange County”. Filming will occur during our March 30th event so a release form will be required as you may end up on TV.
When they are "hosting" one of our events Yanks Air Museum and Planes of Flame Air Museum open their respective doors to our Young Eagles at no charge. This is an incredible bonus that really enhance the experience and value of our Young Eagle days and helps make for a truly unforgettable experience. We thank you for patronizing the gift shops of our outstanding partners and ask that you promote others to visit.
We ask that all Facebook users, please "like" us. Twitter users can follow us @eaa92.
Don't forget to refer your friends, classmates, relatives and neighbors to http://eaa92.org so they too can take advantage of our wonderful Young Eagle program
We’ve put in our order for “Blue Skies” so let’s all hope and pray for a beautiful clear and sunny SoCal day on March 30th.
