November 24th, 2011 - January 14th, 2012 G.R. N'NAMDI GALLERY presents "Disembodiment", a group exhibition portraying the exquisite works of 3 Latin American artists. From their abstracted techniques, to the choice of mediums and color, these artists depict a range of culture, language, minimalism, and geometrics. ANTONIO CARRENO, a native from the Dominican Republic, uses the abstract language of art to convey the saline and vegetative atmosphere of the tropics through his variation of light and shadow. MAURO MACHADO, an Argentinian painter, is celebrated for his quiet, minimalist abstractions on canvas, made up of geometric shapes and organic patterns.VICENTE PIMENTEL, born in Santo Domingo, boasts his techniques through rapid strokes and intense color.
