The Chesterfield Historical Society is pleased to announce the unveiling of a National Register of Historic Places plaque at the Bisbee Mill Museum on Sunday July 23rd. The plaque has been provided through a grant from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. The dedication will take place at the Bisbee Mill Museum at 66 East Street in Chesterfield at 1:00PM. The museum will be open for tours and the gristmill will be running after the dedication.
The Bisbee Mill Museum is a 19th century Gristmill and workshop dedicated to preserving Chesterfield’s agricultural and industrial past. Please make plans to join us for this ceremony and tour the museum.

What a Great Day!! A huge THANK YOU to the hundreds of people who came for pie/brownies and ice cream and/or to visit the Museum! It was wonderful to see familiar faces after a couple of years away and to meet so many new people so interested in our beautiful little town and all ithas to offer! Between pie, brownies, ice cream, and your donations we raised over $1000 for the Chesterfield Historical Society!! Your continued support (and love of delicious desserts) is what keeps us going. We can’t thank you enough!

The meeting is tomorrow morning. PLEASE consider attending and helping us save our wonderful museum! There will be multiple options for repairs and honestly we just want it done, we aren’t picky about which choice wins out. Thank you so much for supporting us!
