Funetorium

Funetorium An all inclusive funerary experience. Individually our tastes may heavily favor hearses, ambulances, vintage funeral furnishings, etc. Stay tuned.

Funetorium is powered by Mourning Glory FC - a funerary collective made up of the most passionate collectors, preservationists, historians, and conservators. yet each shares commonality by crossing over into related fields. Combined, Mourning Glory FC formulates the deepest experience and knowledge pools. While many sites, groups, and pages focus mainly on hearses, Funetorium provides an informati

ve outlet for everything from 1850s funerary items through modern day professional vehicles that simply does not exist elsewhere. As time passes, this mortuary consortium will continually share for reference. Funetorium provides Mourning Glory FC members (largely lurkers previously) with an online voice - even if operating through Victorian era shadowy secrecy. Funetorium has continued evolving along with massive growth and substantial exposure since inception. Hundreds of choice items from collection are display loaned at Simpson Funeral Museum. We have also supplied exceptional vintage funerary pieces to Iowa Funeral Museum and Education Center, Peoples Mortuary Museum, LSU Rural Life Museum, and the National Museum of Funeral History besides FDs and collectors in private sector. Besides acquisitions, appraisals and sourcing keep us rather busy. Fans are encouraged to submit questions and images for page inclusion. All submissions will be properly credited. If you have an item or coach to share, please do so without hesitation. You may even find cool stuff here available from time to time.

It took 30 years for someone brave enough to attempt resurrecting, which Funeraria San Vicente has accomplished. Restoration is finishing up this week.
