Aaron C. Cook, Baltimore native, has come so far in this life as we know it all by the graces of the Lord King Jesus. Upon graduation in 2001, from one of Baltimore City's great Baltimore City College High School, he embarked onto a career in graphic design. This career began with his extensive education in the field at Bradley Academy for The Visual Arts which is now The Art Institute of York PA.
Upon graduation from Bradley, he'd been employed as a graphic artist and digitizer at Legacy Athletic in Hanover PA. He worked diligently at Legacy learning all that he could about the business aspect of his work and sharpening his craft before embarking on a venture of his own. Prior to leaving Legacy Aaron started Rize and Grine Designs and Graphics. The company started out designing custom skateboard decks which grew to a T-Shirt Line. Now broadening the work under the umbrella called Rize and Grine, Aaron provides print work for everything form company logo, combination mark and lettermark design to design CD and DVD labels and cover art. One of Aaron's professors at school always pointed him out for his skills in conceptualization and freshness. He'd say, "I can go out and find 30 designers who can recreate and mimic, but maybe only 3 who are able to create a new idea." Aaron has naturally always been blessed with the gift of creativity and an artistic nature. Aside from being an awesome and fresh Graphic Designer, he's an exceptional visual artist who's been involved in everything from portrait sketchings to mural paintings including a portrait of Baltimore City's council woman Catherine E. Pugh and artwork that was placed in the State Capital in Washington DC for Congressman Elijah Cummings. Now, aside from Aaron's visual creativeness, God has also given him an ear for music. Aaron is a self taught pianist, guitarist, producer, emcee, singer and songwriter. During the summer of 2008, July 20 to be exact, Aaron was spiritually filled with the Holy Spirit and since then has grown stronger in his faith and in his Christian walk. After much time, prayer, fasting and growth, God began to reveal to Aaron that his calling was to create music for God. He was to do music to praise and worship God the way it was originally designed to do before it was taken and twisted for the uses of the enemy. He was also charged to preach God's Holy word uncompromisingly by way of Christian Hip Hop. God has gifted him in that area as well, with Aaron knowing that just a year or so before he received his calling, that he was unable to do so. He heeded God's call and began to write, releasing the My Life Vol. I project subtitled "The Living Epistle to be Read By All Men,'' in 2008. It was shortly after that when he took up the guitar and began his education in music production and he's been going strong ever since. Aaron made a vow to God that as God had gifted him to do what he does, he would do it all in the name of Jesus. It was after that when he partnered up with good friend and brother in the faith Jerome Mitchener to form One Life Productions where the motto is 1 Life 1 Christ. The two sharpen each other as the Bible says that iron sharpens iron. They're both inspired to saturate themselves in God's word and not only reading it and knowing it, but doing what is says is their aim. Aside from One Life productions, Jerome had begun Sound Scan Productions and Aaron has so begun KiqDrum Ent. The two companies all under the One Life Family. Though Aaron is rising to the top only because he has kept Christ first, he never forgets what God has kept him through and where He's brought him from. It's been a long road for Aaron but through faith and persistence God is raising him up to be a great tool for His kingdom in the earth. Aaron takes all that he does seriously because he knows that he can do none of it on his own and he knows that it's important to do all that we do for the kingdom of God with excellence.
