I just heard that the demolition for this historic Movieland Wax Museum sign is going to start tomorrow. Although it’s been almost 13 years since MWM has closed, it still breaks my heart to hear this!

As America's former entertainer, Lawrence Welk based on California's Movieland Wax Museum got deceased in 1993 due to pneumonia.
Hi Folks. I have a video blog called Darkslade Diaries, and in this most recent episode (The Quarantine Virtual Road Trip Episode), I have a lot of footage of the Movieland Wax Museum from 1995. It starts at 7 minutes and runs to 26 minutes. Here is the link. Hope it helps to bring back memories!
