The Steinberg Museum of Art at Hillwood is the caretaker of Long Island University's Permanent Art Collection. The University began acquiring work in earnest in the early 1970's and over the last three decades more than 650 new works have entered the collection through gifts and donations. The Museum offers a robust exhibitions program that continuously changes throughout the academic year and seeks to encourage students, faculty, and staff as well as the broader Long Island community to explore the visual arts.
The Steinberg Museum of Art at Hillwood is located on the LIU: Post campus in Brookville, N.Y.
