Glasshouse DIY artspace/music venue that operated 2004-2006 and eventually gave birth to Glasslands. Glasshouse was a DIY art space in Williamsburg that was a pre-curser to many later art venues.

It helped popularize Williamsburg and brought many young people from all over NYC and America to Williamsburg. Many bands started there careers there and a few became famous after finding there artistic vision through performing at Glasshouse. Glasshouse was a trailblazer for the participatory art movement . We created this page in memory of the space and the times when art was still revolutionary.
