Sorry to say that the Jazzy Cruise has been cancelled. BUT, the exciting Saturday October 3rd trip to the Colebrookedale Railway and Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is still on the schedule. It will be a great day with a lovely ride through "Secret Valley" and a white glove dinning car luncheon. The Museum brings the history of Pennsylvania's transportation alive. A great trip for gals and guys.
April 5th, 2020. The April Gazette will be delivered when it is is safe to do so. In the meantime, we have had to cancel the Jazzy Cruise slated for May 30th. It has been postponed until next year. Further details to come. Hopefully, we will be able to publish a Gazette in May even if it isn't quite what you are used to reading.
Would this be the right place or could anyone direct me to the right place, please? My genealogy shows a G-grandfather shot his father in law for attempting to assault his wife. There was a trial and he was acquitted. This was in 1892 or 1893. I'm looking for details of the event and trial. I'm not from PA and old newspapers don't elaborate. Any ideas on who to contact? Thank You.
Aw, no peach social pics? :D
