Acting in partnership with local, regional, and national leaders; policy makers; community- based organizations; and others, the Institute supports socially relevant applied research on issues of concern to Black Communities as well as issues on the cutting edge of policy debates in the commonwealth and the nation.

Mission: To identify and address issues facing the Black community in Massachusetts through research and publication, technical assistance, and public service.
