On the night of April 18, 1775, right before the first engagement of the American Revolution. The British Army had planned to come to a city called Concord. My partner, William Dawes, and I got ready for the alert, which began when a church signaled to us that the army was coming from the Charles River. We then went on to meet with John Hancock and Samuel Adams in a city called Lexington to warn about the army while also warning people on the way. Because of our warning, the soldiers were able to get ready for the battle which resulted in an American victory. This would later go on to be known as The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere.
