This 1954 aerial photo shows the Shell Jungle in Bonita Springs and what appears to be a Seminole-type Indian village. I am assuming this is the same property that also went by the name Distant Drums Seminole Village that stood at the intersection of Terry Street and Old 41. Anyone remember any more details about these tourist attractions?

Our latest history book has been on sale since Monday and it's doing great. It's not too late to order it online and get it in time for Christmas. How may of you remember that Bonita's famous Dome Restaurant was made (in part) from left over ammunition boxes from Buckingham Army Air Field?
