Little did I know that when I was deciding on a new name for my fine art photography site that it coincidentally happened to also be on the 2026 International Day of Peace "Invest in Peace - For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day" inviting us all to do our part for promoting peace.

The name I unknowingly chose for my art website is: Peaceful Wall Art, established on the international day of peace! My intention is to promote the beauty of the world through the lens, as it has always been. I continue to work towards doing that by offering my best of best fine art photography featuring national parks, coastal landscapes, nature, travel and more peaceful, calming photographs that will remain timeless on your walls.

I hadn’t set an alarm. I simply woke up at just the right time, grabbed my camera, and went outside. As the eclipse progressed, clouds began moving through the sky sometimes revealing the moon clearly, sometimes surrounding it and completely changing the scene.

Looking through the photographs afterward, I realized I didn’t just capture the eclipse. I captured the atmosphere of the night — the darkness, the clouds, the stars and those brief moments when everything seemed to line up.

Sometimes the photographs you never planned to take become the ones you’re most grateful you were there to make. 🌙✨
