Dear Friends of G. Krug and Son Ironworks Museum: We wanted to share some photos and comments from our recent Christmas at Krug Open House!
We are very grateful for all the wonderful visitors who stopped by on Saturday. We have attached a few photos of our shop and employees (some of them anyway).
We also have included a video of one of our blacksmiths, Mark Kelly, describing the differences between actual wrought iron and modern mild steel during one of the many demonstrations that day. (The video might display sideways depending upon the viewer you use.)
Also included is a photo of our 4th floor library which was just renovated this fall.
Stay tuned to this channel for further updates! Merry Christmas Everyone!
Don't forget to join us today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our annual Christmas at Krug! We have restored several rooms and are proud to show off our work. We will have blacksmithing demonstrations and tours of our building. Our gift shop will be open as well! Hope you can make it.
