Town of Babylon History Museum The Town of Babylon History Museum has exhibits about the community histories of Amityville, Babylon, Copiague, Deer Park, East Farmingdale, Lindenhurst, North Amityville, North Babylon, North Lindenhurst, West Babylon, Wheatley Heights and Wyandanch.

Hours: Monday thru Friday, 10am—3pm 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month (October thru May), 10am-2pm Located at the Old Town Hall, the Town of Babylon History Museum has three floors of local history exhibits, including the old jail cells from the Town of Babylon Police Department, circa 1918-1958, the old courtroom, and interactive exhibits with historic photos and information related to the histories of the Town of Babylon communities - Amityville, Babylon, Barrier Beaches, Copiague, Deer Park, East Farmingdale, Lindenhurst, North Amityville, North Babylon, North Lindenhurst, West Babylon, Wheatley Heights and Wyandanch. Entrance to the museum is free.

Lindenhurst History Book - Coming Soon!
"From Breslau to Lindenhurst: 1870 to 1923" is due for release on September 3, 2018. The book is a collaboration with the Lindenhurst Historical Society and the Town of Babylon History Museum with nearly 200 vintage images of Lindenhurst, formerly named Breslau.
