Sadly, this lady’s son passed away while his daughter, her grandaughter, was very young. She wanted a three generation painting with her son watching over the two of them.

Splatter paint technique is so fun! Moving on to my next set and looking forward it! As an artist, it’s like riding downhill without brakes or side rails! Just dip your brush into whatever color you’d like and go for it!

Drawing a lady’s grandparents and the picture seemed to demonstrate what a fun couple they were, I really enjoyed drawing it! Prior to wrapping it up, the lady called to say her grandmother had suddenly passed away. She loved the picture and asked that some roses be added in her honor. Such a poignant moment for this particular painting. I hope it serves as some form of comfort for her grandfather🥹
