The #ArtNaturePeople campaign North Carolina Museum of Art is an evergreen campaign that focuses on user-generated content.

Does your GLAM have an evergreen #musesocial campaign? If so, share it with us in the comments.

5,000 years of art. 164 acres of nature. A place for everybody. To celebrate YOUR free permanent collection and Park, we’ve planned a summer full of exciting campus events, pop-up murals across the Triangle, a photo contest, and more. Learn more about us below, watch the video at ncartmuseum.org/artnaturepeople, and then share your own experience via #ArtNaturePeople.
.
The NCMA’s permanent collection was formed in 1947 when the state’s General Assembly appropriated $1 million for the purchase of works of art, making North Carolina the first state in the nation to use public funds to buy art. The free collection spans 5,000 years across two buildings that also host temporary exhibitions like October’s “Scott Avett: I N V I S I B L E” and “Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and Mexican Modernism.”
.
The 164-acre Ann and Jim Goodnight Museum Park connects the collection with nature and is open every day, dawn to dusk. It features temporary and permanent public art installations by international artists, environmentally sustainable landscapes, colorful gardens, miles of recreational trails connected to Raleigh’s Greenway path, and a terraced pond.
.
But it’s the people who bring the NCMA to life. At outdoor summer concerts, to the music of Chaka Khan and Rhiannon Giddens. Through family tours and artist conversations that delve into process and inspiration. Over dessert at Iris restaurant. In the middle of late-night, after-hours parties to the tunes of a silent disco. We invite you to create your own Art + Nature + People experience each time you visit.

"Artists being able to tokenize their work on the blockchain will greatly benefit the art economy. Right now, many artists are creating free content for social media to boost their following. In the near future, artists will be able to “tokenize” their digital and physical assets via the blockchain. This will enable artists to get paid for the content they are putting out via social media."
