The principal designer of the original Ford Mustang had lost his brief battle with cancer early that morning at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Halderman was 87.
I received an email from Lorain County Metro Parks this morning to tell me the Mill Hollow Car Show is cancelled for August, 2020. You know how much our committee loves to do this show. We are sad, but hope to bring it back in 2021 bigger and better!
I will keep you posted as I get information about shows and cruisin's for this summer. Hopefully we will be cruisin' soon.
I hope that everyone is well and in good health. The board has decided to once again cancel the meeting for May due to the standing orders from the governor. With deep sadness we will also be cancelling, possible postponing the Dust Off. Kenny at Suds is willing
My apologies, my cat walked across my keyboard. Gotta love our fur babies.
As I was saying, Kenny at Suds is willing and still wanting to host the Dust Off, but there is no date as of now for a postponement. I will be reaching out to him later on today to see what he would like to do. As for our July show, well lets see what happens this month with all the new changes and the state slowly beginning to open back up to see where we are with that. Myself personally I'm still holding on to hope for that show. I am still taking volunteers for July show and the NMCA show in August if anyone would be interested in helping out. I wish I had more exciting information for all of you at this time, but I don't. Also, I am still getting together a course for a cruise if anyone would be interested in that as well. I will be driving a few possible routes today.
I have had a few members reach out to me about posting ads for selling their cars on our website, and I just wanted to touch base on this for a moment. As all of you know when I accepted this position as secretary, I was going into this blind not knowing much about computers or even websites. I have taken it upon myself to learn. I will be reaching out to our website company for them to teach me how to post, add/change things on our website/webpage. Please be patient with me. As soon as I feel comfortable enough to share the ads, I will be reaching out to the few members who have inquired about posting an ad.
I truly hope that everyone is doing well with our current state situation. I also hope that everyone is staying healthy and safe. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or if you just want to rant about how this virus has disrupted your life. I want our members to know that we are still thinking about all of you and we care. 💜
Take care everyone and hopefully we can all get together soon,
Sad day in the Mustang and Ford community
Who would be interested in doing the cover bridge route as a cruise? Haven't actually looked at route yet, just thought I would throw it out to see who would be interested. Just a thought since everything is getting cancelled. Thought we could maintain 6 ft social distancing.
You can drive through America’s shortest and longest covered bridge along this scenic route.

Good afternoon everyone,
Hopefully this message finds you in good health and spirits with the current world situation. I am sending out a friendly message letting everyone know that this months meeting that was scheduled for April 16th, 2020 is cancelled. As much as this saddens us, we must comply with the current stay in place order, for everyone's health and well being. Next meeting will be Thursday May 21st, 2020, unless the order is extended. As for the annual Dust Off, as of now this has not been cancelled. If the order is extended, then we will. Annual dues will be extended until the end of the April.
